Have you heard of Buddy's PALS?
Have you heard of Buddy's PALS? PALS stands for Pet Assisted Learning Service. Serving the greater Lansing area, they train and place dog and handler teams in local schools, libraries, and at educational events! The mission of Buddy's PALS is to support the education of young people in our community.
So what is an educational comfort dog? Educational comfort dogs are highly trained and certified with their owner as a dog/handler team to provide comfort in classrooms and other educational environments.
Educational comfort dogs are personal pets that work together with their handler to provide comfort and support in learning environments. This past August, Kiwanis Delta Township, gave a $1,000 donation to help support this cause.
